Well, many of you have been asking me: How do you dress for school?, so I decided to film my outfits for school an entire week (from Monday to Friday, duh!). As I was editing, I realized that the video was becoming way too long so I decided to split it in two parts, the first one has just come out! Bien, pues muchos de ustedes me han estado preguntando: ¿Cómo te vistes para el colegio?, así que decidí filmar mis outfits durante una semana entera (de Lunes a Viernes, duh!). Cuando editaba, me dí cuenta de que el video se estaba volviendo muy largo así que decidí dividirlo en dos partes, ¡la primero acaba de salir! Presentation of MBFWMx

Yesterday I had the opportunity to attend to the presentation cocktail of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Mexico AW edition. I was excited as it was the first fashion-week event I was able to go to and  I got thrilled by the announcements that were given last night. More designers, great strategies to push Mexican and latin american fashion forward as well as forums and platforms to provide a rich, great experience. Unfortunately, I was not able to stay so long as I had surgery on Saturday (more details on that coming this week) and I was supposed to be resting (I'm a freaking teen, c'mon! I can't stay still). I did met a couple of people I've been wanting to meet face to face for some time and well, I realized that I don't want to give up on this, I love it and here is where I should be right know.

Ayer tuve la oportunidad de asistir al coctel de presentación de Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Mexico edición O/I. Estaba emocionada porque fue el primer evento de la semana de la moda al que pude asistir y me quedé maravillada con los anuncios que se dieron la noche de ayer. Más diseñadores, estrategias para impulsar a la moda mexicana y latinoamericana, así como forums y plataformas para brindar una gran y enriquecedora experiencia. Desafortunadamente, no me pude quedar mucho tiempo ya que tuve cirugía el Sábado (más detalles sobre eso esta semana) y se supone que debería estar en reposo (soy adolescente, ¡vamos! no puedo estar "en reposo"). Me vi con un par de personas que he querido conocer desde hace tiempo cara a cara y bueno, me di cuenta que no me voy a dar por vencido en esto, que lo amo y que aquí es donde debo de estar ahora.

My Kinda School Project!

Besides all the work school involves, some of my classmates have been doing amazing art works for a subject I (fortunately) don't take. Don't misunderstand me, I love art with heart and soul but it was not my time to take it. However, I've been collaborating with them in some of their projects (which I will be posting soon) and this is one of them. I had the opportunity to work with a very dear friend of mine. His work expresses the duality in a person and how the two sides we all have can "balance". I was very excited to collaborate with him, we always have such great time together and I must add he's my desk partner in most classes. This time I did the makeup, photo and did some of the styling but of course the whole idea and intellectual work was done by Juan Pablo. Hope you all enjoy this little amateur photo shoot.

Además de todo el trabajo que el colegio involucra, algunos de mis compañeros han estado haciendo trabajos de arte increíbles para una materia que (afortunadamente) no está en mi curriculum. No me malentiendan, amo el arte con todo mi corazón y alma pero no era mi tiempo de tomarlo. Aun así, he estado colaborando con ellos en algunos de sus proyectos (que estaré posteando pronto) y este es uno de ellos. Tuve la oportunidad de trabajar con un muy querido amigo mío. Su trabajo expresa la dualidad en una persona y como pueden "balancearse" los lados que todos tenemos. Estaba muy emocionada de trabajar con el, siempre pasamos un buen rato juntos y debo agregar que es mi "desk partner" en casi todas las clases. Esta vez hice el maquillaje, fotografía y algo de styling pero obviamente la idea y trabajo intelectual fue de la autoría de Juan Pablo. Espero que disfruten de esta sesión de fotos amateur.

Travelling with Nat: Acapulco!

Well, winter break arrived. I know for some of you is almost over but thank God, my school gives a long period of time to enjoy myself and have fun. I'm sorry for the time it took me to do this post but I've just return from another trip. Anyway, this time I went to Acapulco, which is one of the most popular beaches in Mexico. A few of my brother's friends along with my Dad and me spent such a good time in one of my favorite places: the ocean. It is kind of weird cause I don't really like sunbathing or swimming in a pool with more than 5 people in it but running in the beach, playing tennis and waking up at 6 am to watch the dawn are well worth it. Well, this is a little bite of my trip, I didn't took "fashion" pictures, just some random ones of some of my favorite moments.

Pues bien, las vacaciones de invierno llegaron. Sé que para algunos de ustedes casi terminan pero gracias a Dios, mi escuela da un largo periodo para disfrutar y divertirme. Siento mucho el tiempo que me ha tomado hacer este post pero acabo de regresar de otro viaje. Esta vez fui a Acapulco, la cual es una de las playas más populares de México. Algunos amigos de mi hermano junto con mi papá y yo, pasamos un muy buen rato en uno de mis lugares preferidos: el océano. Es un poco extraño porque no disfruto mucho de tomar el sol o nadar en una piscina con más de 5 personas en ella pero correr en la playa, jugar tenis y despertar a las 6 am para ver el amanecer, vaya que valen la pena. Bien, este es un "pedacito" de mi viaje, no tome fotos de estilo, solo algunas al azar de algunos de mis momentos favoritos.

Field Trip! with Natalia Elydee!

Hey guys! So as many of you already know, I am an ordinary girl who goes to school everyday, does homework, ride my bike, etc. The other day I went on a school trip to Mexico City and I must say I was especially excited about this one as we were going to two of my top museums in the city:The"Museo Nacional de Historia"(National History Museum) at the Chapultepec's Castle and to the Soumaya Slim art museum. I love school trips with all my heart as I get to experience different from those on a regular school day and I get to visit one of my favorite cities (don't care what everyone else says). We also had lunch at Plaza Carso and I really wanted to go to one of my fave restaurants "Carolo" but the time wasn't enough so I decided to grab a salad and some pizza from the fast food section; it was good anyway. Some of the museum guides complaint about my behavior and I took lots of selfies with my classmates during the trip! Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Hey chicos! Como muchos ya sabrán, soy una chica bastante ordinaria que va al colegio todos los días, hace la tarea, monto mi bicicleta, etc. El otro día fui de excursión al DF y debo decir que estaba especialmente emocionada por esta ya que visitaríamos dos de mis museos "top" de esta ciudad: El Museo Nacional de Historia en el Castillo de Chapultepec y el museo de arte Soumaya Slim. Me encantan las excursiones escolares porque experimento otras cosas que no hago en mi día a día normal y visito una de mis ciudades favoritas (sin importar lo que digan). Comimos el almuerzo en Plaza Carso y en verdad quería ir a uno de mis restaurantes preferidos "Carolo" pero el tiempo no me dejó así que decidí comer una ensalada y pizza; fue bueno aún así. Algunos guías del museo se quejaron de mi comportamiento y tomé un montón de "selfies" con mis compañeros durante la excursión! Espero que les gusten las fotos!
